We are hosting a new support group focused on men and relationships. It would fit a variety of men going through change that may take place early in life or late in life. I am running this group with a psychotherapy intern Nathan Nicholson and we are trying to support men as they explore who they are as they face new commitments, different stressors and learn how to take care of themselves, advocate for what they want and need in a healthy way. Our vision is oriented towards men building new relationships more so than grieving a divorce but we happy to talk to you if you are unsure it would be a fit. This in person group is slated to run Thursdays from 12-1:15 pm once we have sufficient numbers.
Details:
Fees: $50 per session but sliding fee is available. Group members would make a 10 week commitment. Depending on the interest the group could extend.
Location: 2239 Carter Ave, St. Paul, MN 55108
Two options: Thursdays 12-1:15 pm or Tuesdays at 4 pm-5:15. We will decide based upon what works for a majority of clients.
Not sure if you fit? Please contact us.

Therapy comes in more forms than meeting one on one. I am curious if you would consider group therapy as an add on or next step for your growth.
Benefits of group therapy
· Process of interacting with peers, and the ability to look at it, get feedback on it.
· Experience: What is it like to help? What is it like to get attention that is attuned or partially attuned?
· What is like to have a sense of belonging and/or lack of belonging within a group of peers?
· Sharing the burden of disappointments and the joy of victories in a confidential space.
· Seeing some of your struggles as not only your failings or bad luck but as something others share and cope with as well.
· Are there some solid self help resources in the media, podcasts, books that have worked for others.
· Are their practices, habits or disciplines that others have used to grow and move forward in their lives?
