If you are interested in working in a small private practice and learning about these models, please reach out to me. Even though therapists learn in school, much of the learning is by doing or apprenticing. Firelight can offer a very specific experience that can’t be found in large clinics with patient and therapist growth at the forefront.

Firelight Psychotherapy is small clinic in St. Paul focused on depth psychotherapy. We are always interested in connecting about possible collaboration. We do not have openings for interns at this time.

Hiring at Firelight Psychotherapy

 Firelight Psychotherapy is seeking a licensed therapist to join our group practice in St. Paul. I am particularly interested in clinicians who value depth, curiosity, collaboration, and continued professional growth. If that sounds like the kind of practice community you are looking for, we would be happy to connect.

I specialize in psychodynamic work with adults. am trained in AEDP and Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) models. I also have experience with couples work and group therapy.

We want Firelight to be a place where therapists can grow not only in their clinical work, but also in the practical and professional dimensions of private practice. My hope is to create a collegial environment where therapists can learn from one another, sharpen their clinical thinking, and feel genuinely supported in their work.

Our office is located in St. Anthony Park in a historic space that blends the neighborhood's character with mid-century architectural elements. This is a hybrid position, with an expectation that at least 50% of clinical work will be conducted in person.

For clinicians employed by the practice, Firelight provides a user-friendly EHR. The clinic is in-network with most major insurance providers.  We offer a biweekly consult and host other small trainings.

Compensation is structured on a percentage model and increases as billing milestones are reached. For therapists joining the practice with an established full caseload, we can discuss competitive compensation as a W2 or contractor. If candidates are not full licensed compensation will depend on level of experience, I am a licensed supervisor for LPC and LGSW. I am happy to share compensation models when we meet.
